A volleyball coach, 21, has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old student. Cassandra Rose Elfers, who works for Phillip Sharp Middle School of Pendleton County School District, is charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. She turned herself in on Friday and also quit her full-time job as a waitress at Eduardo's Pizza and Subs in Falmouth. Elfers is from the same school district as former Bengals cheerleader and Dixie Heights High School teacher Sarah Jones, who last year was convicted of sexual misconduct.
