Everyone know there's no crying in baseball. Just ask Tom Hanks.
But what about biting in hockey? As covered up as the players in the NHL are, you'd think it would be pretty hard to do. On the other hand, professional wrestlers in tights must get bitten all the time. Regardless, Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mikhael "Tastes Like Chicken" Grabovski will have a disciplinary hearing with the NHL at 4 pm Monday after what appears to be "biting motion" that happened during a brawl with Montreal Canadians over the weekend. Not exactly sure what lead up to the "scrum" in this video, but at one point Montreal's Max Pacioretty can be seen reaching around Grabovski from behind with his wrist clearly over his face.
Watching Pacioretty in the video you can see he reacts immediately and later complained about the bite.
The NHL, not wanting to become the professional sports equivalent to a preschool full of two-year-olds, is investigating and the punishment (sitting in the corner for a time out?) could be handed down quickly.
Watch the video and decide for yourself.
